Perfect Batman

I wrote an article a few days ago about who I wanted to play Batman, but I overlooked the perfect person for the part.

Fassbender, Evans, and all those guys are great actors and would all play Batman well, but the best actor to play Batman is:

Jim Caviezel.

He's older than most of the Bruce Wayne/Batman(s), but that's actually a good thing. Since the movie is going to be Batman Vs. Superman. Obviously they are going to fight at first and then team up. Batman and Superman are best friends in the comics, Bruce Wayne is going to have to help guide Superman into the hero he is supposed to be. So it would make a lot more sense to have an older Bruce Wayne to help guide Clark Kent to that point. It would be pretty unrealistic to have some young Bruce Wayne giving Clark Kent all these guidelines and advice if he is only a young person himself with no experience.

He is currently starring in the TV series Person of Interest, written by Jonathan Nolan. The brother of Christopher Nolan, the producer of Man of Steel. If you've ever seen the show, you'd notice that there are a lot of similarities to the Batman story comic book line. Caviezel plays a cop named Reese. He takes on different identities to solve crimes, just like Bruce Wayne a.k.a. Batman. He's not afraid to use guns, but he prefers to shoot down his enemies in the knee. But the biggest thing is how Caviezel fights in the show. He fights a lot like Batman. He uses everything he has at his disposal. He is an ex CIA so he has gadgets and weaponry like The Dark Knight.

Jim Caviezel is the perfect fit for Batman.

Worst Rumors Ever!

So yesterday and today I keep seeing these disturbing rumors for Star Wars Episode VII. It's so disturbing that if they go with these rumors and they become true, Star Wars will suck.

First. Casting rumors. Two not the greatest actors. 1 horrible one in my opinion and one eh one who doesn't belong in Star Wars. Technically, neither of them do. So the latest rumors are that Ryan Gosling and Zac Efron are going to play Han and Luke's kids in Star Wars. Horrible idea. They are on the right track with the age thing, but please oh please not these actors! Ryan Gosling is a bad actor. He hasn't been in anything good ever. And for Efron, he's a Disney actor. This is the only reason I've had doubts about his movie in the first place, Disney. Disney always has to do something stupid. Like casting, especially.

I have a feeling this is going to be a let down movie. Kinda like Episodes 1-3. Horrible casting. Yeah, the special effects were awesome, but the acting sucked. That's why I will always prefer the original three. Awesome acting. The special effects didn't matter, the actors were awesome.

What happened to Jonathan Rhyes Myers? I thought he was going to be in this movie. What happened to the whole, J.J. Abrams knows him because of MI3, so where is he?

Second bad thing. Rumors of Director J.J. Abrams leaving Star Wars. It was hard enough to try to find a director in the first place, please don't leave. If he leaves, they'll probably get some sucky director and it will be a total flop.

Disney, please don't cast bad actors. Cast good ones like the original three movies. Combine that with great special effects. Best movies ever. But if you cast bad actors, that's not going to happen. Listen to Slim Tim.

Goosebumps Scenes: "Fire Everything!"

The most goosebumping part is when the Enterprise comes out of nowhere and destroys all the incoming torpedoes.

Who Will Play Batman?

Now that there is an upcoming Batman/Superman movie. Who will play The Dark Knight?

As you can probably guess, there have been tons of rumors and suggestions flying around. A lot of which I can't see happening or if they do, I'd be disappointed. Batman can't be too comical, he has to be serious. Especially to fit into the Man of Steel universe.

My top picks for Batman would be:

Michael Fassbender: He would be an awesome Batman. He already is an awesome Magneto for Marvel. He can pull off Bruce Wayne and he wouldn't have to make up a voice for Batman, he already has an awesome voice.

Benedict Cumberbatch: Also has an awesome Batman like voice. Plus he has the Bruce Wayne look. He was awesome in Star Trek Into Darkness. He would be a good choice for Batman.

Josh Halloway: Halloway isn't as a known actor as the rest of my list, but he was in Lost and he was in Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol.

Luke Evans: Luke Evans is probably one of my favorite upcoming actors. He can play tons of different kinds of characters. He's played the villain in Fast 6, he was Zeus in Immortals, he was Apollo in Clash of the Titans, he was Aramis in Three Musketeers, he's going to be Bard in The Hobbit, and he's going to be Dracula. I can picture him playing Batman/Bruce Wayne too.

Jeremy Renner: Another one of my favorite upcoming actors. He's been in The Bourne Legacy, Mission Impossible, The Avengers, the Hurt Locker, The Town, and Hansel and Gretel. I can see his Bourne Legacy and Avengers roles becoming a Batman.

Karl Urban: Urban would be a good Batman as well. Coming from his parts in different movies such as Dredd, The Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, Riddick, and the upcoming TV series Almost Human. He's already proved to be awesome wearing a mask in Dredd, he's already got the dark hair to be Bruce Wayne. He hasn't really been in any Bruce Wayne type parts that I can think of, but he's a good actor he could pull it off.

Who do you think will play Batman in the upcoming Batman/Superman movie? Leave your thoughts below.

Marvel: Vin Diesel

A few weeks ago, Vin Diesel reported that he has been in meetings with Marvel for an upcoming movie. Now as for what movie and who he will be playing, no one knows. In a recent picture of Vin Diesel, he is standing in front of a Giant Man poster. Giant Man a.k.a. Ant Man. So will Vin Diesel be playing the Avenger, Ant Man?

A few days ago, he also revealed in an interview. That his Marvel character would have almost the same kind of love relationship as his Dom and Letty in the Fast and the Furious movies. So I don't know who that could be at all, but when I first heard that Vin Diesel was going to be in a Marvel movie I got excited. The first couple of heroes that popped into my head were the following:

Ant Man: Mainly because he was standing in front of the Ant Man poster, but I could see him playing Ant Man. He could really make him a lot cooler and he already is. Imagine a big buff Ant Man. That would be cool.

Luke Cage: Yes, I know Luke Cage is black. But why can't he be white? They've changed so many superheroes' everything already, so why not make Luke Cage white? Diesel would be the perfect fit for Luke Cage. He's already big and strong, so he wouldn't have to work out for the part.

Vision: Vision is an android. But the whole "Dom and Letty thing" would make sense for Vision. Vision's love interest is Scarlet Witch. Scarlet Witch is Quicksilver's brother, since Quicksilver has already been confirmed for Avengers: Age of Ultron. I'm just guessing here, but Scarlet Witch might make an appearance too. Plus Vision is an Avenger, so I could see that happening.

Black Panther: Yes, I know he is also black. But again, why can't he be white? There are white Africans. So he could definitely pull off being Black Panther. Think of how cool he would be, just picture: Black Panther's awesome costume and put Vin Diesel's voice into it. Awesome right? Yeah.

The Thing: There is an upcoming Fantastic Four reboot happening. Will Diesel be The Thing? Like I said before, he's already got the muscle.

Daredevil: I could see him playing Daredevil. His "Dom and Letty" with Electra. That makes sense. I could honestly see him playing Daredevil for one outstanding reason: Riddick. Riddick isn't blind, but he can see in the dark. Daredevil is blind, but he's a cool hero. I could see Diesel making him even cooler.

Who do you think Vin Diesel will be in an upcoming Marvel movie? Leave your comments below.

Goosebumps Scenes: "You die!"

Comic Book Movie News

This has to be the biggest news I've heard since I heard about Star Wars Episode 7.

First off, Marvel's news:

Marvel's The Avengers 2 is called The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Ultron is a robot in the newer comic books. Ultron was created by Hank Pymn aka Ant Man. So I'm just guessing here, but since it's called Age of Ultron. Ant Man will make an appearance. Also more Avengers news is that Aaron Taylor Johnson (Kick Ass) is going to be playing Quicksilver. Quicksilver is originally a mutant from X-Men. He's actually the son of Magneto. He has super speed, so he's pretty much 'The Flash' of Marvel.

Now, DC's news:

The Man of Steel sequel will not only feature Superman, but also...wait for it...Batman! Oh yeah! Best news ever. Superman/Batman team up in a movie. These were also the best comic book story lines ever too. So the release date for the Superman/Batman movie is 2015. I am not actually sure if this the next sequel to Man of Steel, it is a sequel to Man of Steel, but according to Henry Cavil (Superman) there's going to be a Man of Steel 2. A different movie than the Superman/Batman movie. It's also been said that it is already being written for release next year.

Also, The Flash movie has a set release date for 2016 and The Justice League is set for 2017. Finally, DC movies are coming and going to be awesome! '

I love both DC and Marvel, but I probably like DC more for one major reason. It's more serious. Even in the comics. Marvel has always been more relaxed and humorous. DC has always been more serious, which makes more sense because if superheroes existed in the world today that is how they would have to be.

Some other news regarding The Avengers. Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) and Andrew Garfield (Spiderman) have both expressed interest in having their characters join The Avengers. So hopefully, this will happen in Avengers 3? Keep your fingers crossed, because that movie would be the most awesome movie ever!

Upcoming Comic Book Movies:

The Wolverine (July 26, 2013)
Thor: The Dark World (November 8, 2013)
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (April 4, 2014)
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (May 2, 2014)
X-Men: Days of Future Past (May 23, 2014)
Guardians of the Galaxy (August 1, 2014)

Box Office Failure

Pacific Rim. When I first heard about this movie, I thought it looked really stupid. It was like Transformers meets Godzilla. It looked dumb. To make it worse, it's a Guillermo Del Toro movie.

Honestly, I have never seen a good Del Toro movie. None. There are two reasons to why his movies suck. 1, He always, always, always casts the worst actor in the world in all his movies, Ron Perlman. Ron Perlman has litterally been in all of his movies. It's pathetic. He's worse than horrible. Check it out, most of the Del Toro movies star Perlman and I'd like to point out that all of these movies suck.

Pacific Rim: Obviously, this what we are talking about, but he played Hannibal Chau. Seriously, he was supposed to be what, Chinese?

Hellboy: He played Hellboy. The main character, first mistake and the last. This movie sucked.

Hellboy 2: Again, he played Hellboy. And this movie, I don't know how, but it was worse than the first one.

Cronos: I have never seen this movie. It was Del Toro's first movie, but I'm sure it was horrible.

These are just some other horrible movies because of Ron Perlman:

Conan The Barbarian: The horrible remake of the original Arnold Schwarzenegger movie.

Drive: Just a stupid movie, period. Ryan Gosling didn't help.

Season of the Witch: This movie would have been cool, if Perlman wasn't in it. Nicolas Cage as a crusader hunting down a witch, it had a good plot.

In the Name of the King: This movie sucked. Jason Statham in one of his worst moments.

There was only one movie that I've seen Perlman in that wasn't too bad, only because he had a very very small part. Star Trek: Nemesis.

The 2nd thing about Del Toro is he always has the dumbest plots for his movies. Come on, giant robots fighting against giant monsters? Really? And he thought he was going to make big on that? Epic Fail.
